What are you up to this weekend? My birthday is on Monday, but I don’t have any real plans other than going to see “Avengers: Endgame.” I’ve had a busy week so it will be great to get some rest. Since the weather is so beautiful, perhaps I’ll go outside and do some planting. Thank goodness it’s Friday!
Now for a couple of short and sweet fun things from April.
Here in Alaska, the sun is so intense! And I’m not complaining. I’ve been longing for some actual sunshine since November. Now that we are heading into the warmer months, it’s even more important than ever to wear sunscreen (although you should wear it year round). If you’re looking for a good sun protectant for your face, try this.
I finally listened to the doctor and started doing yoga twice a week with a colleague/friend during lunchtime. The stretching has been extremely beneficial for my back. If you are having joint pain, I recommend it. With the help of a great virtual instructor, there’s no need to head to the gym.
I’ve been looking for a few good books to read while relaxing on the deck. This one by Brené Brown has gotten a lot of good reviews. Also, I thoroughly enjoyed watching her on Netflix last weekend. Have you had a chance to watch the motivational special?
This is the cutest baby ever. And her mom is over 40.
Thinking about whipping up something new for dinner on Sunday? Try this recipe. It’s simple, repurposable, and not loaded with lots of calories. Make a little extra for lunch the next day.
Rag’n Bone Man has an amazing voice and released a new song this month. Have you heard it?
Enjoy the next two day and thank you for reading.
