About Prime Life Pretty
I was born in South Carolina and am married to the man who has supported me and all of my crazy ideas. We are the blessed parents of two beautiful, smart and talented girls. Both of whom are young adults finding their way in this ever-changing world.
Some of the things I love include laughter, Mexican food, travel, makeup, skincare, black and white photography, places books live, essential oils, and anything retro. I’m a reformed pessimist and self-doubter. With God, I’ve overcome seasons of severe depression and have made a decision to dedicate the majority of my time to self-improvement. I strive daily to be authentic and intentional–it’s a lifelong process. Seeing other women thrive through it all brings me joy.
This blog started out as a hobby back in May of 2016 during my eight years of living in Japan. As time went on, I fell in love with all things blogging. I would work on my website while on lunch breaks at work and during any spare time I could find. Inspired by other bloggers on the web, I decided to take my hobby to the next level. This is my passion and I love every minute of it.
I hope you stay a while and If you think you’d like to hang out here more often, make sure you subscribe. You’ll receive my newsletters where I share exclusive tips and information not necessarily available on the blog. Most importantly, I would love the company.
~Time is precious because life is short. Remember, we only get to do this once.
Take care and thank you for being here.
All the best, always.
People may call what happens at midlife ‘a crisis,’ but it’s not. It’s an unraveling – a time when you feel a desperate pull to live the life you want to live, not the one you’re ‘supposed’ to live. The unraveling is a time when you are challenged by the universe to let go of who you think you are supposed to be and to embrace who you are.
